Zetafax

Overview

Zetafax is a powerful network faxing solution from Equisys. It helps improve faxing efficiency. The Zetafax solution has two main components the Zetafax Server and the Zetafax client.

Zetafax Server

• Connects to the telephone line via intelligent fax board or modem
• Routes faxes
• Manages fax lists

Zetafax Client

• Installed on desktop PCs
• Helps users create and send faxes

Integrates with Microsoft Office & other applications

Zetafax integrates tightly with both Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes. Users can manage fax creation, delivery and receipt directly from their email client or favorite office application, saving time spent printing and manually faxing documents. The familiar interfaces make the faxing process simple and easy to learn whilst improving worker efficiency.

For more advanced users the Zetafax Client provides a rich feature set such as fax annotation, editing and control options. You can even monitor the status of faxes as they are being sent and be notified of any failures, ensuring important documents never go missing.

Create and deliver documents by PDF and Fax

Zetafax Duo allows you to create and deliver documents as faxes and PDFs via email. Documents can be assembled from multiple sources automatically, converted to PDF format or fax TIFF images and sent using Microsoft Outlook.

Fax Broadcasting

The specialist Zetafax FaxBroadcast solution is an option for businesses that send regular fax mail shots and need a cost effective solution. It provides a specialist client for importing data from ODBC databases and an enhanced server for delivering faster fax throughput.

Automatic fax routing to desktops in TIFF or PDF format

Faxes can be routed automatically to individuals' desktops using DDI, DID and DTMF. They can also be routed to departments, network printers or standalone fax machines. Optionally, all inbound faxes can be converted to PDF for easy viewing by users without fax viewing software.

Route to network folder

Inbound faxes can be routed to a network folder based on the recipient's fax number. The faxes can be dropped as TIFF files, or automatically converted to PDFs, depending on configuration settings. Network drop folders provide an easy method to integrate Zetafax with third party applications.

Integrates with specialized systems such as CRM and accounting software

The Zetafax API toolkit offers developers a rapid way of adding fax capability to in-house applications. Integrating Zetafax fax software with your CRM or accounting package, for example, could save your business significant time and money. The API toolkit is designed for Visual Basic and C++/COM programmers and is fully supported by our technical team to ensure the integration process goes smoothly.

Supports Fax over IP for faxing without an Intelligent Fax Board

Zetafax now supports fax hardware and software solutions from Cantata/Brooktrout and Dialogic/Eicon for use with Voice over IP (VoIP) phone systems. Companies using VoIP systems can integrate fax activity with the rest of their IP communications without the need to install separate hardware, fax lines or cabling.

Support for complete range of hardware solutions

Zetafax supports a wide range of hardware options ensuring there is a solution for every business, regardless of size and requirements. Options include analogue and digital intelligent fax boards from Cantata/Brooktrout and Dialogic/Eicon, most digital and analogue V.34 modems and fax over IP (FoIP) software.

Up to 200 lines on a single fax server

Zetafax is highly scalable and can support up to 100 lines on a single server for network faxing or up to 200 lines for FaxBroadcast.
